Q: WHY CHOOSE VALLE WINE LIFE?

A: Simply put, our commitment to customer service is unmatched. Valle Wine Life is unique in that we are the only tour company that is headquartered in Valle de Guadalupe. The wineries and restaurants you will visit are our neighbors and they see us on a daily basis. We have developed wonderful relationships with owners and the staff at countless venues in the Guadalupe Valley. All of our vehicles have the proper commercial level MEXICAN insurance and all of our vans have the proper Mexico Federal Tourism License Plate. U.S. based tour companies operating in Mexico with U.S. license plates are ILLEGAL and their vehicles are subject to seizure by the Mexican Federal Police. In addition, non-Mexican citizen tour guides from the United States who do not have the correct immigration papers are NOT authorized to work in Mexico and are also operating illegally. 


Q: WHICH WINERIES WILL WE VISIT?

A: Valle Wine Life only brings tour groups to wineries who excel in the areas of wine quality and customer service. Due to the fact that our wineries may change for a variety of reasons, we do not advertise what wineries we visit for our one-day tours. Should you wish to visit specific wineries or should you desire to know the itinerary in advance of your trip you may book a custom tour where we will work with you to create the perfect wine tasting experience. Q: HOW DO I BOOK A TOUR?

A: Booking a tour is simple. Please use the “book now” button located in the description of the specific tour you wish to book. We will promptly respond to your request with availability and pricing. Due to many variables associated with the booking process (pick-up location, group size, number of wineries, meal requests, etc.) it is impossible for us to provide an online booking method. 

 

Q: Why do YOU REQUIRE a deposit?

A: Requests for Valle Wine Life tours far exceed the number of vehicles, drivers and hosts we have available. Valle Wine Life remains focused on providing a quality experience for all guests, as such, we work on a first-paid, first-served basis. Although we may tentatively hold a date for a guest, your tour is not considered booked until such time as we receive a deposit equal to 50% of the total tour price. 


Q: DO I NEED TO PAY GRATUITIES?

A: Valle Wine Life pays our drivers, hosts and other providers well above the normal wage. It is our policy to never solicit a gratuity. Our view is that a gratuity is EARNED and is never an obligation. Should your driver or host provide you with service that exceeds your expectations you may show your appreciation by providing them with a cash gratuity IN an amount that is at your sole discretion. Please be wary of tour companies that require an automatic or non-discretionary "gratuity" IN ADDITION THEIR QUOTED PRICE. This charge or service fee should be included in the quoted price of your tour and is simply a way to mislead guests into paying more. 

 

Q: WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE? DO YOU CANCEL A TOUR FOR BAD WEATHER?

A: Valle de guadalupe is a climate of contrasts. the mornings are cool and foggy and the days turn to warm and sunny. the evenings can be cold even in the dead of summer. for any tour to valle de guadalupe we suggest that you dress in layers. you can remove a sweatshirt of light jacket as the day warms up and add them as the weather starts to chill.

WE DO NOT CANCEL TOURS FOR SLIGHT CHANGES IN WEATHER. WE ENCOURAGE ALL TOUR GUESTS TO BE PREPARED FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER. WE WILL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY TOURS GUESTS OF RAIN OR OTHER CHANGES TO THE WEATHER IN ADVANCE OF THEIR TRIP. SHOULD WEATHER CONDITIONS RENDER ANY TOUR UNSAFE, WE WILL CANCEL THE TOUR AND PROVIDE A FULL REFUND TO THE GUEST.

 

Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A: Cancellations FROM two weeks TO FOUR (4) BUSINESS DAYS from your scheduled tour date WILL FORFEIT FIFTY PERCENT (50%) of the total amount paid to Valle Wine Life. Cancellations three (3) business days or less from your scheduled tour date WILL FORFEIT ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) of the entire amount paid to Valle Wine Life. Should yoUR cruise ship not make its scheduled port of call (this does not include missed or canceled cruises) we will REFUND ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) of the amount paid to Valle Wine Life.
